Nominee's Place Your Nomination!
This is a reminder to any of our Nominee's who have not yet placed their nominated works. You have until Sept 3rd to place them before they are disqualified. So far we only have 2100 of the 4500 nominations placed so you procrastinators out there... get a move on!

If anybody has friends who were nominated, you might want to remind them to place their nominations, I know how easy it is to forget to do stuff and then it'll be too late.

I would love to see the nominees and to eventually vote, but I can't get in the site. It says my login name and password don't match, and I have tried re-registering/forgoetten password and the site crashes. I also tried to contact the site maintainers and after I hit the "submit" button, the site crashes.

Any suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated.

The nominee's aren't open to view yet, only to those that have been nominated have been given passwords to view their nominations and place them in the correct categories. Viewing/Voting should probably open in late October/Early November.

I have some nominations that overlap categories and secondary categories and I'm really not sure how to sort them out.

uhm, I have the same problem. I have some character vids for the same character, because I did several vids for him. Now, even when I take one out of the 1st categorie, and pick the secondary categorie, then this one would interfere with another one already in this categorie *does this make any sence?* ... HELP *waves* This is my 1st time, help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how to word this so it doesn't sound like I have an ego the size of McKay's, but my friend told me she'd nominated one of my videos, but I haven't gotten an email about it. Is there anyway you could tell me if I actually was nominated or not? It might have been nominated under my other LJ name [info]pavlovs_kitten.
I just want to make sure yahoo isn't eating my emails (since I've seen you guys are having trouble getting through the spam filters and yahoo has been weird lately). My email is lilas _ 01 at yahoo. Thanks a bunch!

It's very possible you're one of the ones we're having issues with. I've got about 30 people I'm still trying to contact. I'll email you.

I have not received an email, and several people hinted that they'd nommed me. I'll not be available after the 29th, so is there any way to find out before the deadline is past?

Is the site having issues, or is it just me? I got in to look at my nominations about a week ago. Yesterday and today though, I couldn't login. Requesting a new password prompted an error message and an email failed message. Trying to do a help contact went to a blank white screen, and I never received an automated message to my own email as I got before that it was in the queue.

If it's just me, I guess I need a new password...?

You might try clearing your cookies? That's about all the technical good I am, if you're still having problems after that, contact our tech girls, web@stargatefanawards.com and they can help. But try the cookies thing first, it seems to fix 90% of problems :D

I can't put my story in any but SGA Fan Fiction??? A selection for Category or sub-catergory does not come up for me and I don't want my story booted because I couldn't selecct something that wasn't my fault.

Can someone be helpful?

With the pulldowns you have to go back and keep using the same one, it switches to the next selection each time. I went ahead and placed it to make sure it worked, look it over and see if that's what you want, if not, all you have to do it hit reset and you can place it how you want. Hope that helped :)

Ack, doesn't seem like the registration procedure on the site likes gmail addies. It claims "that doesn't appear to be a valid emailaddress" :(

Yet this with nominees for nominations, sounds like you are taking this with nominating even a step further. Is it in fact only those nominated that can setup up their info, rather than overall nominations? Would explain a thing or two *grins and blushes*

But perhaps a good idea otherwise then to set some sort of notice for the online form url as well?
